Any (Friendly) S5 Owners in Leeds???

A bit of a cheeky request but I am considering purchasing a used Audi S5 over the next few months, to consolidate and replace my TVR T350 and daily runaround and wondered if there are any friendly owners in/around Leeds that can show me around the car and give me their honest views on the +ves and -ves as a long term proposition.

The reason for this request is because I have so far been very unimpressed by the few dealers around the area who so far have not been able to even get me a car to have a look at, never mind take one for a test drive and try to weigh up the option of manual or tiptronic... They all expect me to pay a deposit on a car that I have never seen or driven before getting one for me to even have a look at! Very strange sales tactics indeed!

Good shout and I completely forgot about Harrogate Audi. They don't appear to have any used S5's in stock but if they are more proactive in getting me a demonstrator to compare transmissions then I'll be very happy indeed.

who are owned by sytner just like leeds, wakefeild and bradford audi. they don't understand customer service

Redline have a couple. Are they not meant to be "rated" as a dealer?

I only went there once when they were in Leeds but now they have a big site by Knaresborough.

I have always stayed away from there to be honest as I thought their prices were very high for the condition and mileage of cars that they have, but looking at the 2 S5's they have the black one looks about right and only the white one seems expensive for the mileage compared to the rest of the market.

I'll give them a shout. Anyone got experience of buying from them?

I'd avoid Redline like the plague, they have a really bad reputation. Whenever i've been in there too the cars don't look to be in the best condition.
