Is it true?

97,000 fines sent out today @ £80 each for unpaid raod tax as at the end of 2003. Thats over £18,000 in 2nd class stamps!

What are they going to do with 7.7million - Improve the roads and road safety or install speed humps and cameras?

Probably means they will not need to raise taxes in other areas as much as if they don't do this.

Untaxed cars = uninsured cars (policy condition I believe) = if they crash into you it's going to cost you.
