Are there any events planned by any of the clubs where owners of this amazing and often forgotten car can get together ?

Thank goodness most Boxster owners never gave it a second thought, as the value is incredible if you can find one now. I have owned mine for two years and nothing is faster yet as docile and easy to drive in traffic, and the roof is secure and weatherproof ! The boot isn't bad either roof up or down, enough space for the weekend away bag.

I have owned porsche/bmw over the years but find myself getting twitchy after a while for a change. Not with this !

There are some SLK folks out there - all turned up in Malton at the Breakfast meet in April.

If its less specific to all Mercedes models there are a few things planned - a meet at Elvington Air Museum very shortly. These are through the Mercedes Benz Club. I guess you are may not be a member. I have been a member for a while but not been to anything yet - may try Elvington this year.

I've had mine for two and a half years now and although I've looked at other cars nothing has the convenience of the hard top and the same power. Even the SLK 55 didnt feel as well put together. I'll be keeping ot for a while yet
