A Turkish speaking woman,(thus unable to defend herself adequately in a Farsi speaking courtroom), accused of adultery, (yet no witnesses, even though they are required by Iranian law for a death sentence to be applied) to be buried up to her chest and stoned to death over a prolongued period...........
I watched the video of Apocalypto last night and I'd say the Mayans were more civilised than the Iranians. I despair of the region when I read stuff like this. On another thread someone suggested turning it all into glass. Maybe he's got a point?
