Hi there,

I spent this weekend at the Goodwood Festival of Speed and had a superb time photographing some of the most exciting cars in the world.

One of the highlights of the event is the Sunday Times Supercar run which takes place twice a day. I watched the runs on Friday afternoon, and Saturday morning. The weather was superb and the sun played havoc with my camera on such new and well presented cars. The track was quite dusty as well which made for some interesting shots.

I have some more shots of the static display cars, the Cartier concours exhibition and a few from the car parks which I will try and post tomorrow.

1) Lamborghini Reventon Roadster - stunning car and a real pleasure to photograph

2) Another highlight the Ferrari 599 GTO and 458 Italia

3) The new Mclaren MP4-12C

4) Latest Koenigsegg - The Agera

5) A couple of Bentley Continental Supersports

6) Staying with British Supercars, a Morgan Supersports and a rare Bristol Fighter

7) Veyron Grand Sport - one of two Veyrons in the supercar run

8) Ferrari California - very pretty in Silver

9) Gorgeous 911 GT2 RS and a rather fruity driver

10) MX5 Speedster Concept - hold on to your hats

11) Mercedes SLS - a true successor to the gullwing ?

12) Finally for now a Zonda F kicking up the dust

Hope you like the pics, more to follow soon.

Regards

Tim

Any chance that I could have a couple of the shots?

Thanks

The MP4 picture lifting its front wheel is awsome, proper power and a proper chassis.

The red 458 looks sooo much better than the GTO imho. It wouldn't bother me that the GTO was faster/better to drive. I would always buy a Ferrari for its looks....(still would love a mint 308 before a 355/360 for example)

The fighter is an awkward looking car at the best of times but that front on shot in that colour make it look even worse.

The California, GT2 and Zonda look stunning.

Fantastic shots there Tim.
Love the 'egg looks mean as hell.

One thing that strikes me is how crmped the McLaren cabin looks with two occupants. Big difference to the 458.

Is it me or does the new MX5 look, well, a bit like the stay puffed marshmellow man?

I liked the 458 pictures I saw before seeing the car in the flesh at Goodwood, but the rear of the 458.....oh dear what were they thinking?
The car looks too long from the doors backwards and the back is just plain horrible.

Not a fan of that 458 at all.

The GT2 RS however looks brilliant, great pictures.
