Anyone have an ideas on how to replace my rear box just with pipes?
Last night I was actually driving round with no rear box on at all. To say I got some 'funny looks' is an understatement. I think some people genuinely thought the world was ending as I drove past.
Sounds too good to put back on to be honest...

Don't be silly. you've got a TVR Cerbera now, you don't have to prove anything to anyone by having a ridiculously noisy exhaust. 
All those "end of the world looks" from people won't be admiring looks, and they'll probably also be accompanied by the universally understood up and down wrist movement as you drive past. Also you will never be able to do a track day.
Honestly mate, junking the rear silencer will do your head in after 2 weeks, If you want to change, louden the exhaust note, then get some so called sports pipes from ACT.

I'm fitting a 2nd hand stainless rear box tonight. It didnt initially fit as the 6 and the 8 are different slightly, but today I get some sleeving and I shall have that bad boy on there.
I was going to make some pipes that I could swap with the rear box when I wanted some noise, using the tails off the old box. I'll see if I can make something up!

ACT I believe do 2 sizes of pipe make sure you get the 1 that you can get track day silencers fr or yo wont get on track. My 4.5 with ACTs on is 113 decibels without silencers and 104 with. Even at 104 you wont get on some tracks. Just keep it in mind if you do want to get your car as loud as you can.

What revs / distance from pipes is the 113dB?Aost trackdays I've been on want 4.5k revs and it's recorded at 0.5m away from the tailpipes at 45 degree angle. They do both sides and take the noisiest.
ACT do have centre section pipes with additional silencing in, plus you can replace the cats with extra silencing as well. Cats knock 8-10db off but there a sodding great heat source next to the gearbox/clutch.

Hi,
I have a pair of straight through pipes for a cerbera. They conect to the middle pipes where they sleeve onto the box and then exit out the back like the standard system, although they are 1/4" larger at the tail pipe than standard.
Only 6 months old aswell!
£200 if someone wants them.
