Morning people of yorkshire

I need the help of a mechanic for a full day as soon as possible to help me get this old suspension off and the other stuff on. I've been without the MX5 for a couple of weeks and despite the diesel pug doing the job, it's driving me nuts!!!!!!

The thing is, I can no longer leave it half completed and need to get it done in a day

We have the majority of tools needed (can't see us needing any more) and there will be myself and a friend working alongside whoever helps

I'm not flush at the moment, but a case of beer would go to the person that can help me get this sorted and the promise of bacon sarnies upon arrival biggrin

Can anyone help??

TIA

Scotty

What is it you need doing, I'm no mechanic but pretty handy with the spanners.

Howdo fella

I need to replace the upper wishbone on the front drivers side then take off original springs and dampers front and read and replace with some konis which I've purchased...but it's a 21 year old car and a bit stubborn.

I've been religiously and liberally applying WD40 on the bolts we're going to remove, but I need it done quick as I'm soon going to be without backup transport hehe

Hmm can't imagine it being that hard, though I've never done a wishbone before. But if you get really stuck ile come and have a go.

I'm useless with the spannes myself, but have you thought about asking someone on the mx5 owners club or a similar forum? Could always trade machanical help for a quick photo shoot?

I have already asked on MX5nutz and a friend of mine has offered help, but not confident we can get it back together in the time after he finishes work. I desperately need it back on the blackstuff so I can start my traveling life again smile
