These things will be my downfall. Especially with a generous sprinkling of dried chilli flakes on top.



They're crap for my diet though.

Think they're the best supermarket curry by a mile and would happily quaff it down over many a take-away.

Noticed they now do a Madras for the first time.

Lashings of sauce too. Should moisten up the lightly grilled chicken a little.

If this is true, then it's about fking time. Most Supermarket curries I've had have been utterly atrocious.

I got what I believed to be a home-made lamb saag out of the freezer last night. Once i'd defrosted it i realised it was a frozen fajitas instead.

We shall agree to differ, sir. And trust me on the Naans, I couldn't believe it myself. I'm not sure if it's a new range or whether they have been around for ages, but I was mightily impressed - and I eat a LOT of good curry.

very impressed with the waitrose curries- we keep a couple in the freezer for when we get back really late and want something edible- they are surprisingly good.

Agree with the naans too- very good especially dribbled with water and grilled under the microwave!

I think I'll have a punt on the M&S anc Waitrose ones at some point if they are 'that' good. Despite the fact that I haven't bought a ready made curry for about 5 years and always make my own or use my only choice Indian.

They will however have to be exceptionally exceptionally good to warrant being as good as a freshly prepared curry from a curry house. Some people are making very bold statements that lead me to think their local Indian takeaways are very poor...

I'm hardly a curry connoisseur, but nothing I have ever had from a supermarket (including Waitrose) has ever come close to even a half-decent curryhouse. Get yourself along to East London (Lahores is a favourite), or the East Midlands to taste something which is a world apart from traditional curryhouse fayre (coming from someone who spent nigh-on 18 years eating South Wales curries).

Do you know which curry houses I've been to? No. You do not. Therefore your opinion is worth 5/8 of fk all.
