Dress code? Really?
Discussion
Yep thats what I read and indeed on the tickets you can see pictures of shorts with a cross through them.
I'll be packing some smart/casual trousers/jeans in case, but to be fair 2008 had similar warnings if I recall.
No problems with no flip flops/vests/top less men.
Shorts though, that's not cricket!

I've been to the past 3 Le Classic Le Mans. All indicated a dress code, especially for the paddock. I've had paddock passes every time (this year too) and only ever worn shorts and a polo shirt (a bit cold in 2008 for this!), no problem. However, I'd recommend packing something smart casual, eg trousers and a tailored shirt, just in case there is enforcement this year.

While I wouldn't be seen dead in shorts and flip flops, theres no way I'm getting any smarter than jeans and t-shirt.

You might be out of luck if you want to go into the paddock area then.Rich
I live in jeans & a shirt all the time, but its nice to make a bit of an effort for events like The Classic even if it can get a little 'sticky' in the heat
