OK folks, what's bad about BOLTON?

There are some very nice areas around Bolton. Avoid Smithills, Little Hulton and Farnworth to name a few.

What part of Bolton are you asking about? There is the good and bad places. The bad places should be avoided. You could get mugged for looking at someone the wrong way. I have just moved away from there, 2 murders within 500ft of where I lived in the last 2 years.

The roads are terrible.

Indians, Asians and white folk do not get along in some areas.

Parking the car around town always worried me.

Traffic wardens are fools there.

And Amir Kahn races his M6 around at daft speeds. Saw him one night on Manchester Road easily doing over 100. Sounded great but what a tool.

We used to get a lot of non English speaking people knocking on our door and asking for money. I would tell them the sausage factory was closed and my porcupine was in labour in the dishwasher

You'll have to be more specific OP. I grew up there, spent the first 25 years of my life there, but in a nice-ish part.

It's pretty much a city, and like all cities it has it's rough parts and it's nice parts.
