The other night we had our 4 year old grandson stay with us, Mrs A ran a bath for him and he duly came downstairs afterwards in his pants for a scone. He sat down and was about to get stuck in when he suddenly stood up, reached round and pulled out a tape measure, checked the aforementioned scone was of sufficient dimensions and carried on as if it was the most normal thing in the world....all the while never taking his eye off Doctor Who

Excellent laugh My 4 year old girl loves dancing to anything. Anything except Rihanna. She doesn't like her hair.

Reminds me of a joke about a monkey and a cue ball but now is probably not the time or place.

Brilliantly barking your grandson.

My three year old son is going through a phase of no letting anyone clear away his dinner plate. He can have eaten it all, left a bit to go freezing cold or not really liked it at all, he will not let it out of his sight.

At the age of four my youngest daughter informed me that while I'd been at work "Mum told me off for saying 'st'".

You either get it or you don't.

I'm thinking he might have watched the same cooking program as me on the weekend. A girl was learning to bake scones and she had to measure them before cooking to make sure they were under 25mm before baking.

I have no idea what I was watching though.

yes

I'm not a fan of babies, but soon as they can walk, talk and be educated I like them.

My daughter and I...

I ask her to say "Mommy"... she says "Mommy"
"Daddy"... she says "Daddy"
"Nanny"... she says "Nanny"
"Marek" (her brother)... she says "Come here".

I have no idea.

All men do, how can we measure that paint stirring stick we find on offer at B&Q?

You speak for yourself - I keep mine in my trousers - there's precious little room in my pants as it is!

Me and a pal were at another pals house waiting for him so we could go out.

We're in the living room and his 4yo son (looks like the kid off the milky bar ad but with a massive blond afro) is playing with a floppy bunny type cuddly toy in the middle of the floor. Gary decides to spark up a conversation with said child:

Gary: I like your toy
Child: No response
Gary: so what's his name then..??
Child (with a totally deadpan expression): Bumhole
Me: spits beer over floor

It was Hugh Fearnley Whittingstall's River Cottage. Her scones had to rise by a certain amount so they mesured them before and after to see how much they had risen

Is your mate Gary Glitter and did your son know this fact and chose his answer accordingly ?

My 3 year old little girl kept noticing dads willy and kept asking "whats that? a willy?"
Dad would respond "No, it's a MASSIVE willy"

anyway this went on ramdomly over the next few weeks and then she stopped asking...

....till we went to the swimming pool when in her loudest voice she exclaimed "Daddy you got a MASSIVE willy"

and cue the next few cubicles crying with laughter
