I sometimes go that route home and always enjoy pushing it on the right hander which leads to the bridge over the M4 then into a nice left right.

Anyway I used to get 80 leptons tops gound round it but now with the 330d a solid 90 is doable quite easily however I did notice the traction control light flashing and had a bit of a wobble at the rear end. Now for those who know the road at that speed in that type of car is that approaching the limit of dry adheasion or is there something wrong with my car? It has brand new rubber all round and just had an inspection service Tyre pressure is spot on.
For those who dont know it taking the info above is that nearly on the limit before the rear breaks away + with me keeping the Stability control on will it simply cut power & apply abs to the relevant wheel to prevent a tail out/spin scenario?

Pussy - you don't need it in the dry.

You do know that bendy motorway slip roads often have diesel spilt on them, don't you? Where's your escape on that road if the car swaps ends at 90?

Liked the first comment - second not so much.

Usually though even doing 90 you have a white van up your chuff and that looks scarey at those speeds they really look unstable. That said provided he doest lose ends then I should be fine Im guessing I have superior handling to white man van with their nice 105 profile tyres all that give & high CoG

What you want to do is try doing 90 on the sliproad from A329M (from bracknell) to the M4 London bound! hehe

How new?
May still have a bit of the release agent/oily residue on them?

Thats dry conditions only IMHO.
Thats slightly downhill & off camber too....

Mine as you know is uphill & off camber so in theory should understeer moreso than over steer however its FAR from smooth and those bumps really can unsettle a car when your nailing the apex
