Bench warming for Liverpool is the latest. Lets see who the papers think tomorrow.

I doubt Liverpool can afford his wages. Greedy sod's reported to be after £100k per week. Does he not know there's a recession on?

Heard he has been spotted at Melwood (Liverpool)

I would LOVE him at the Red, but dont expect him to be.

I hardly think he'd warm the bench at Anfield. Would be a great signing for us, therefore it will never happen.

I'm going to say Liverpool, some money in the bank from the Benayoun sales and then a free replacement, would be a good deal for Liverpool IMO.

He might go to Ashley Coles house to see if Cheryl has left anything in their old house.

We couldnt afford him. I think he would be a great addition to the squad though and relly lift the team when everyone is worrying about torres, gerrard and mash getting off.

I dont think he would come up north though he is a real cockney geezer isnt he?

Not Spurs - we don't need him other than as a bench warming squad member.

Anyway - he's a good player, but not £100k a week good.

I heard the same. I also heard though that they baulked at his wage demands and dimissed the deal out of hand.
