I'd just like to acknowledge how proud I am of my wife who, after a tough pregnancy (and tougher caesarean recovery), gave birth to our second kiddy, Jack, last Wednesday.

I'll spare the gore but I thought I'd share my love and good news:

One hour before

One hour after, 7lb 15oz of baby Jack

Aged 24 hours

...and finally, why do they make you wear pink, FFS?

Now, can someone help us find some sleep as we haven't been able to find any?

When they say 'A picture paints a thousand words' - well, I think you can double it with this photo.

Congratulations.

I have 2 weeks to wait before number 2 is born.

Isn't a caesarian section the weirdest thing though? Having the screen up and only being able to hear what's going on is very odd. Some of the sounds are quite hurl

That is a beautiful photo. It really captures the "moment".

The first photo made me say "Awww", but that photo made me go "Awwwwwwwwww".

They both look absolutely beautiful. You must(should) be feeling incredibly proud.
