Hi guys

I’m looking into the idea of getting a 147 GTA in the next month or so. It won’t be doing many miles, maybe 5k a year max.
I’m looking at the lower end of the price scale and have found a couple of interest, mainly:

http://pistonheads.co.uk/sales/1757301.htm

No Q2 diff. (£500 to get fitted?) 330mm brakes with 17” multi spokes, I thought this combination didn’t fit?

and:

Trouble is, it’s in Ireland and I’m not! Anybody know of this car or any advice?

Ive seen a couple more but they’re red and I don’t want to own 2 red cars!

From what I’ve read, ideally I should be looking for the Q2 diff upgrade, big brake upgrade, cambelt done at around 40k/4 years? Anything else I should look out for?

Couple more questions for those in the know,
How do they handle in the wet? Reason I ask is I also have a Noble M12 which I prefer to not go out in the wet! Also, the Alfa will live outside as the noble lives in the garage.
Any known problems with these when they get to higher mileage, or is it more of a ‘buy on condition not mileage’?

Just spotted this one but the mileage puts me off a little:

Any advice appreciated

Thanks
Paul

I personally didn't think you could get that style of alloy in the 17 inch design. The ones in the pic are the same that was used on GT as well which were 18 inch.

I agree. I think they are 18s. Mate of mine has them on his 156SW GTA.

They are definitely 18s. Or kerb-finders, as my fiance seems think. I have them on my GT. Easist wheels on earth to scratch. If you have breasts.
