Does anyone know where to source the 1.5mm (ish) thick foam sheeting that goes between the clamshells and body (or what it's called) - I can't find anything anywhere that is similar, and need to renew mine.

Cheers.

I thought of neoprene and I've tried a few wetsuit shops but none of them can get the stuff as thin as it needs to be (1.5 - 2mm). banghead

I bought a load of eBay last year in various thicknesses last year for exactly the same job so worth checking there. If you already have good templates then I may have enough to send you a couple of lengths although mine is quite a bit thicker as I wanted a very good seal - it's an odd shape (for the rear clam) and there are quite a few curves to took me a few attempts and still not completely happy.

In case anyone else is looking for replacement self adhesive foam sheet, this guy can supply a large range of thicknesses and lengths. Prices are very reasonable and delivery very quick. I bought 170mm wide x 2mm thick x 5m long and it cost £13.00. Very sticky and not rattling or banging from the clams thumbup

Top man Craig, I was thinking I want to sort out the banging as I was crashing my way through Wiltshire on the way home tonight.
