well after working for the last 38 years i have just noticed i seem to have 2 different ni numbers, will it make any differance.

Is one of the prefaced with TN by any chance - denotes temporary number, issued in some circumstances when you were unable to produce for perm one. If so no problem, if not, no idea!

Do you mean you have an NI number but a different one appears on your payslip/P60 etc? If, suggest a word with your HR/Payroll dept.
