Pitched to the suits in Hollywood it goes like this:

Young up and coming racing driver has terrible accident (run down by a lentil delivery truck) and decides from his turbo charged wheelchair to start a motoring forum - his online name - PetrolTed.

He eventually gives up work as a slave for Micro$ofts web division to realise his dream of a true online community.

However spies for anti freedom organisations (Broke - What does this stand for?) lurk in the wings along with crazy imposters (Jon Kovich - recently released on a technicality when he murdered the owner of a sports car parked in his field, psychiatrists say he had multiple personalities) who try to destroy Teds dream.

Cast

PetrolTed - George Clooney
Ernest - Pierce Brosnan
Jon Kovich - Jake Busey
Mungo - Tom Cruise
Deristrictor - Nigel Hawthorne
Flasher - Clancy Brown

How does the movie end and who else is cast?

Over to you...

I can see the reviews now... "Lifeless performance from Hawthorne"

Might need to rethink the cast a bit?

Could be a problem with that. Sir Nigel Hawthorne died in 2001.

(Edit: Damn, beaten to it by 1 minute. And delivered in a more amusing manner too. )
