You know the type. Small, vinyl sticker on the rear window or bumper declaring the driver's country of origin or their predilection for Devon.

I'm curious to hear what the PH consensus is on this matter. Over to the masses.

Couldn't care less if people want to show they are proud to be from wherever then fair play.

I personally hate stickers of any description in my car.

I don't car that you are a member of the Caravaning Club & National Trust or that you have visited Cheddar Gorge!!

I especially despise the bolt on emblems for the RAC or AA circa 1940 on the front of George's Volvo.

My wife is Canadian and has a Canadian flag on the back of her car. Hopefully it alerts the masses to her poor lane choice at multi lane roundabouts....

My jockinese missus used to live in Portsmouth and had a saltire flag sticker on the back of her car. It was stolen one night. Did they want the flag that badly, or hate it so much that they took it off?

EFA. Unless your Defender is a ship.

My parents have a small South African flag on the back of their car and I quite like seeing other SA flags, despite not having one on my car.

Perhaps it's time to fly the flag of the country of my birth. scratchchin

The only stick I've put on my car is an orange PH smiley!

EFAA. And you have HM the Queen on board, otherwise flying a Union Jack is verboten and you'll have to stick to a normal red, white or blue ensign like the rest of us. wink

Far more important things to think about, than what stickers people put on their own cars to be honest.

Guess I am in a minority in thinking that if someone wants to do something, that doesn't actually have an effect on other person directly, and is within the law - then it just doesn't matter...

Royal Navy warships fly the Union Jack daily alongside, regardless of where the Queen is. Goes up in the morning at 0800 and down at sunset or 2100, whichever is earlier. Ensign goes up at the arse end at the same time - at sea, there's a pennant ensign rigged near the mainmast at all hours.
