I need a small washer or something similar welded to a shaft on the supercharger on my MX5. It's a repair to a broken actuator bypass valve connection.

It's only a small bit of welding, but as it's to the shaft which will have bearings in it it will have to be done carefully.

Anyone know of somewhere in the Bournemouth/Poole area that might be able to help out?

TBH I know bugger all about the difference. It's just tack welding a washer to a shaft; looks dead simple in concept, and if it were like squirting some Araldite on in a couple of places I'd have a go myself.

But it's not as you have heat and bearings in the same place....
