I'm really interested to know what progress they have made with the track as I only live about 20 mins away so having a good, cheap, local circuit would be fantastic! I also played 'dodge the pothole' about 12 months ago:-) I though the track itself was excellent for a small number of cars - short but with some challenging corners. Looking forward to an update from you guys. Cheers, Ben.
Lovely car, sounded great aswell! I took a couple of pics but only with my cheapo camera so nothing exciting.
Yes I was in a (dusty) black Integra parked away from most, a bit behind where the yellow 968CS was initially parked.
Did you have a good day/will you be going again? It'd be nice if they could have regular days there rather than just every now and again.

You should have introduced yourself. You could have had a ride!
Didn`t you fancy having a thrash? The Hondas are great fun as you well know.
I would like to return as it`s our local(ish) track and we have fond memories over the last 10 years. The layout is only temporary as the new track is yet to be laid. There were too many tight chicanes for my liking, especially in a wide bodied porker. It was more set up for the smaller Mazdas, which after all, was their day.
This venue will only go from strength to strength as it developes. The track can be hired for testing, but not sure of pricing, so you would have to contact Richard Usher.

I had a great day.
It was the first time that i have taken the single seater out on a 'long' track.
I had an issue with overheating after a couple of laps, but some judicious bleeding and rinsing through got rid of all the air and crap in the system.
Other than my nosecone coming off (solved by zip ties!!!) the car ran beautifully all day.
Blyton was a bit rough and dirty, but that is imminently going to change due to several hundred thousand pounds of tarmac going down in the next few months.
A fab job was done as always by Nick and the rest of the team at MoT. I am going back in less than a month to do a 4 hour grasstrack endurance event with the Mitsubishi Lancer Register, i must like it

2skiddy, dont tell me that now! I've never been in a Porsche (despite being a big Porsche fan), let alone something like that. To be honest I'm a bit too shy to have come out and introduce myself; maybe next time. I will be trying to keep an eye on any developments and future days..
I do intend taking the Integra out on track - thankfully it's quite a good set up out of the box; I cant really afford too much messing around with it. Another bonus with Blyton being local and quite cheap. I do want to give Cadwell a go too, but there doesnt seem to be many weekend days. Again, maybe next time.
Greg_d, I presume you were in the black thing (Birchall?). Glad you had a good day, I did cringe a bit every time you scraped around the lead up to the corner at the entrance.

it wasn't as expensive sounding as that 997gt3rs rubbing his nose every lap!I do intend taking the Integra out on track - thankfully it's quite a good set up out of the box; I cant really afford too much messing around with it. I raised the nose an inch and set the suspension to full hard that helped a lot, it was only the lower lip of the side pods that were scraping, so no biggie

Hi Greg D, so do you know what the development plans are? Just a re-surfacing or more? Thanks
I was chatting with Richard (the circuit Lesee) and as far as i am aware the plans are to put a 'proper' track down, extending it to the side significantly (trebling/quadrupling the width of the site) making use of the huge hanger for indoor pits, new buildings (briefing room/food) and a full resurfacing.Should be great then!!!
