new tvr at motorshow

Has anyone heard the latest whisper......new TVR to be shown at the motorshow,either new tuscan or soft top typhoon??
could be wrong but me thinks this a good bet

I think you will find its the revamped Sagaris as it has not been offically launched along with the Typhon.

As far as I'm aware there is no new Tuscan.

Tuscan wouldn't look right with a rag top.

I've not heard anything but a motorshow without some sort of revelation from TVR would be an unusual one.

I read in Sprint that the Tuscan was originally meant to be a softtop but they had to make it a Targa for strengthening.

I agree that the show car will be the new Tuscan.
Bonnet vents will have changed as they are not going to move automatically on the production model.

The Cerbera was nearly a soft-top, started out as the Griffith AJP-8 replacement, but the Griffith 500 came out and then the Cerbera. I think the roof went on just befoe the Motorshow (93/4?)
The next Griffith replacement attempt went through two Speed Six stylings - at the 96 and 97 shows which was open and (too) similar to the Griffith, before it was shown as the Tuscan we know in the 1998 Motorshow.

The early Cerbera had a removable roof piece, but never a true convertable, so was closer to the T350T than the Griffith or Chimaera

I thought in the early literature the Cerbera was originally supposed to be running the RV8 rather than an AJP, and was just a family-oriented(!) Chim.

Nah...too early for that I reckon. From what has been said, it can't be the Sagaris, as the 'order forms' have already been completed by loadsa people on that one. So, I reckon a new convertible. The Tamora doesn't have the 'TVR Family face' (unlike the Tuscan, t350 etc) and it's not the most popular car out of the factory.
I'll await the onslaught of abuse from faithful Tamora owners...

Replacement for the cerb please! (although isnt that what the Typhon is?). Hopefully then the prices of cerbs will tumble as they're all dumped onto the market and then I wont have to rob a bank when I swap my Griff for one.
