2006 Madone - Headset Size

Hi,

I'm rebuilding a 2006 Madone 5.2 for a friend and the headset bearings are missing so I need to get replacements. Does anyone know what size was fitted to this model?

For information, the headset is a Cane Creek S2, non-integrated.

Cane Creek simply do 1 1/8" aheadset bearings for about £15 a pair, any half decent bike shop should have them on the shelf.
