Hi, I've just bought a pair of the mirrors and arms from Emsworth's, is there any means of altering the position of the arm, relative to the door, apart from the 45 degree steps? it's impossible to set the mirror correctly as there's not enough movement to get it right on either full out at 90 degrees, or on the 45 degree step.

Yes there is a slight problem with them they are not as easy to set as the original ones which stepped in smaller degrees.
We have found with the Black Geep (which we have put a set of these mirrors on ) that we can just get the head adjusted right if it is upside down on the arm (The mirror head main part down rather than the usual up if that makes any sense).
It then appears about right at 45 degrees.
The drivers side arm often requires reducing in length slightly as well.
