Found a cracking all-in 5 star hotel in Kos ( Mitsis Norida Beach hotel) at a great discount.Any reason not to go to Kos at the moment other than it will be stupidly hot ( normally do Turkey that time of year so will be used to the heat). We tend to be of the dump suitcase and spend time with the kids type, rather than dragging them round sightseeing/ into town etc, so it's not going to effect us too much if the island is busy. The unrest I believe was on the mainland, anyone got any downsides? It's about half what we normally end up paying for similar in Turkey.
Ta in advance.

Unfortunatelt not a great deal to do there except the beach/water sports, so the kids should be happy.

Cheers, having read some of the reviews it appears it may be the usual "Greece 5 star" as opposed to a genuine one, so we are going to carry on looking!
