Very tempting, but will depend on the final price.

The nose is too short and flat, screen too upright and the rear arch is wrong.
The windscreen isn't right but are the other two issues really wrong or is that just the lighting and perspective with a lack of visual references like wheels? The chassis looks utterly horrid with little triangulation and a very weak looking centre section.
This project might be a good starting point for a better kit but it needs a lot of work to get it into shape.
- new screen
- possibly other non-accurate areas
- new molds for the above
- new chassis design
- new chassis jig
- no interior
I agree it could be the angle but looking at the other picture on the ebay entry I'm pretty sure I'm right about the nose and the rear looks all wrong, it's way too short if you look at the engine cover and the arch is too rounded.
I've been obsessed with that car for many years and actually investigated buying Proteus over 20 years ago, I wish I had now...
Personally I'd buy the TWR kit. I've seen it in the flesh and it's stunning
