Hi guys,

Wondering if you can help me. I need to organise a dinner for a hen weekend and don't know the current restaurant scene in Oxford. I know the city well as I studied there but haven't been back for 7 years.

The dinner is for 12 but won't be a loud affair as we are having main party on Saturday.

Open to all cuisines, but don't know everyone going so although I don't think budget will be a problem maybe not some of the very priciest places.

Any help would be appreciated

many thanks

Lizzie

ps- phone deleted title of other thread, and couldn't find a way of deleting so mods could you help out.. Thanks!

Brown's is nice, so is Branca and Quod, all are pretty sensibly priced too.

I also like Jamie's Italian but I know a few others here are not so keen.

Le Petit Blanc?

Then you can have a wander up to Freuds (if it's still there) for cocktails afterwards.

Well, depends on the style of cuisine that you like, but I can recommend the Al-Shami if you'd like a Mezze, plus there is the Duke of Cambridge for warm up drinks.
