Morning all,

I am running XP Pro, IE6, Norton Anti-virus and Firewall, AVG anti-virus and Adaware6. All products are up-to date.

Problem is that when I type the following into the address bar - www.javascript.com - the site starts to load, but then IE unloads/crashes - no error reports though. A similar thing happens when I type 'javascript' into the Google search bar, except that IE unloads/crashes immediatly.

I was also unable to 'Preview' this post.

I've turned off all the settings of MS VM (tools/options/advanced) but the problem still occurs.

I've virus cheched my drives using both Norton and AVG, and have also run adaware. The PC is clean according to the results.

Has anyone come across this, and do you know of a solution?

Probably an MS "security fix"

Do a restore to an earlier date. Just go back to the last date before you had the problem. Then make turn off Micosoft automatic updates.
