Taking my S3 to Silverstone (first time on track for this car).
Weather forecast is mixed:
Chance of Rain. Scattered Clouds. High: 20° C. Wind SW 21 km/h. 20% chance of precipitation.
Really looking forward to the day. Have been on Silverstone before but not on open pit lane track day.
I see that there are no garages available. Is there nowhere to safely store equipment? Haven't got that much stuff to bring but it would be nice to have a base and be able to offload some equipment. Looking forward to opportunity of getting some good shots of the rest of you with my DSLR + don't really want that flying around in the boot if I can help it.

There are no garages near there that I could see, its just a hard standing area in the middle of the track. The only people there tho will be spectators and other track users so your gear should be safe, our's was.4parajon said:

However this year one of the guys i am with is taking a van so will pile my stuff in there. It is very windy though
okay thanks guys. Unfortunately I will be on my own with no extra vehicle so I might just have to trust fellow drivers.
What about access to good viewing points on the circuit? Are there good vantage spots for photography? Do they have any rules preventing photography given they have professional photographers there?
