buying a mk5 golf gti

Hi im looking at a golf gti on sunday,The dealership is wavertree car centre the car is up for 8995, 50000 on the clock, it just seems a little bit cheap has any one dealt with this firm before. thanks

not dealt with them but there is a Mk5 buyers guide in the august edition of EVO mag which may be useful?

Must be an 05 car at that money?

yeah it is an 05 just tha all the ones been checking out on autotrader are about 10000-11000 same mileage

Still worth a look but I'd be very suprised if it's not a complete dog.

I just bought a one owner 2006 56 plate black, 5dr Golf Gti for not much more than that car from a local trader - it has 18s with matching Bridgestones and an armrest as options. Got a good price for my trade in too.

TBH I've got to give it a test drive and the full once-over on Saturday cos I had to get to work, but up to now things are looking promising. My deposit is returnable if I'm not happy.
