My eldest daughter has a Mk 2.5 1.8 Sport, and has recently been complaining that the windscreen is misting up badly when she has the roof down. I didn't even know this was possible. Has anyone else had this happen?

Nope!

There must be moisture coming from somewhere. Have you cleared the drainpoints? Is there moisture under the carpets or anything? Might be worth stripping the carpet out to investigate....

With the roof down? Weird.

As above check for moisture in the cabin and ensure the air vents are set to 'fresh air' rather then 're-circulate'.

Does the car have air-con? Using this can also help dry out the cabin.

Does it have AC? If so, is she using it directed at the windscreen?

Ah good spot Lazza - cold air onto a hot windscreen could be a winner! smile

Thanks for your suggestions, I'll check. It does have A/C, so that could be the answer.
