Should I say something
Basically I have just finished reading a book. It was a silly chick lit nothing to serious and i enjoyed reading it apart from one thing. The author had "borrowed" a lot of quotes from a film, namely sex and the city, (1st one) I am a SATC uber-fan so spotted them, there was an awful lot of them in there and they were word for word quotes from the movie, said by characters in the book, not quoting the film. I have googled the book and there is no mention of the SATC references. Should i send a email to the publisher to point this out just in case they had a man editing the book who wouldn't have picked up on it? It was published by a large company so i would like to think that they would have some sense about this kinda thing. There is no mention or thanks about the SATC film in the book. Its really annoyed me and if anyone from the SATC people found it it wouldn't be pretty.
What should i do?
WTF!!

Worst 'i've read a really, really ghey book and I want to comment on it, but god forbid, I don't want to come across as a gheyer on a super macho website like pistonheads where people always have a martial arts or rugby background, and they will, like, bash anyone who goes near them with a bike or a can of red bull, and they all plough one up the oxo tower because they are so manly' thread ever.
