Firstly, hello!

2 questions for you all.

I have patched up my exhaust for the MOT, will this pass? (booked in at a council test station so they dont rob me, well only of £54!!)

and second..the back passanger side wheel has some slight play in it. ie. when i jack the car up i can move the wheel from left to right about 10-20mm in each direction. does this mean i need to replace the bearings on this side?? if so how much would a garage usually charge? is it easy to do myself or would i need a press?

hope you can help!
thank you!

Not sure about the bearings but if the mot spot the play in that wheel they will fail it wink

Wouldn't think that's doing much for the handling - get it sorted!

10-20mm yikes You normally check bearing play top to bottom but whichever way that's miles too much and sounds dangerous, are you sure the movement is in the bearing and not the suspension? As for the exhaust, as long as it isn't blowing too much and is secure it should be OK.
