Whats with the ads for cleaning products PH?

Just been looking at some of the topics in speed, plod & the law and suddenly I start hearing "get pink, forget stains"
WTF?
Honestly, how many PHers want to hear about laundry products whilst browsing their favourite site? (Well 2nd favourite after barelylegalteens.com)
I thought my computer had been struck down by that nasty DAZ virus that is doing the rounds!!
Are things getting that tight?

The ads would be fine if they were mouseover activated, but they start playing automatically. I did wonder why Keeley Hawes () was trying to sell me air wick in the middle of Traffic Cops...

I have put up with adverts because, as Kinky says, they help pay for the site. Those intrusive bloody things are a step too far though, and a waste of bandwidth, so all adverts now blocked. Perhaps not quite the effect that was envisaged by Haymarket.

I don't mind static ads, just hate the Adobe Flash animated/video ads.

For those of us with low power machines likes Netbooks, they ramp up the CPU and really sap the battery power!
