Coming Back?

I am considering coming back although I still can't make up my mind between an Elise or an Exige having had both but wanted to know where I might get a good deal dealer wise as the two I have dealt with in the past have been pretty poor. I'm willing to travel for a good service and a good deal particularly if I go for a new one.

Any recommendations please?

In light of the changes ahead with dealers I'd stick with the biggest and most prestigious you can find. The shake up will certainly see a lot of smaller dealers go and if Lotus is aiming at the top of the market and wants to drop the Elise/Exige etc then only the big names will probably remain. If you want to buy new with a warranty how far will you travel if the supplying dealer doesn't exist in a couple of years?

Or... they segment their markets into performance-luxury through the big names then appoint smaller "motorsport specialists" to take care of the riff-raff?
