Black & Matte Edition..
Discussion
How cool, does this look.
Why do we not get MX5 Special Editions that look like that over here!

In honor of the MX-5's 20th French birthday, Mazda rolled out a special edition at a French event we've never heard of. Also, they had a Kill Bill extra on hand to, you know, look fierce.
The special edition, which we're assuming is France-only, is the MX-5 Black & Matte Edition. While it looks like one seriously fancy paint job, we're wondering what the Katana-wielding woman in black is there for. Whatever. Who are we to argue with French fashion?

Mmhm hmm, not sure why but when I googled 'MX5 Crossover Pipe' for the thread about Induction, it was in the Images Search Wasnt that a story from a few months ago, sure i seen it before but cant remember where!

We get some normal base spec 1.8 MX5 with some stripes on it, and the French get that!

Looks nice, although they should have given the grille surround a matte effect - the chrome just emphasises the 'smiley face' effect. Matte finish cars are supposed to be threatening, not gurning like idiots!
Still want one though..............

yeah def should have matt'd the chrome!! then again it appears that quite a lot of 5 owners like chrome for some reason...
didn't mazda miss a big trick with an earlier limited edition that came out in the UK which was based on the most base spec car?

They got rid of quite a few 1.8 Base Spec MX5s palming them off as good spec ones
