What's the traffic like on M3/M27/A338 monday morning?

Hi all, I'm travelling to Bournemouth monday morning from Oxfordshire.
I would like to know what the traffic is like on the above roads, are there any other alternative roads I can take to beat any hold ups on the way?

Shouldn't be too bad. It will be busy but should be moving freely as long as there's no road works. Although I don't do the run regularly. At least you're heading away from London! You sometimes get held up coming into Ringwood where people are undecided as to what lane to be in and people are joining from Ringwood, but it's usually much worse here in the evenings and bank holidays with holiday makers! Would have thought you'd be fine on Monday morning. No other routes really worth taking TBH.

I used to do the Denmead to Bicester journey everyday. You may hit a bit of traffic at J9 of the M3 where you go off to the A34 but coming off the motorway is better than coming up Spitfire Link, other than that you should be ok, excluding accidents depending where in Oxon you need to be for what time.

I'll be from Thame near Oxford, so will be coming down the A34.

You will be heading the 'right' way, so should be fine...
