help required with connection at manifold
Discussion
On the pic above there is a hole in the n/s inlet manifold, can someone please confirm that this should connect to a pipe that runs towards the drivers side inner wing?
1997 4.2
Whilst refitting the engine I suspect I have this connection and the one to the back of the four way mixed up, this (four way one) should come from the passenger side from under the wiper motor?

Just been out to look at mine in the dry!
Took off the rear panel so I could see. The connections are:
1. The hole in the inlet manifold (bottom left of your pic) goes to the pipe from the drivers side wing, as you say.
2. Fuel pipe (top right) to the fuel return pipe (I guess it must be) which comes up the bulkhead from the passenger side.
3. Fuel pressure regulator (centre) - from the right hand side of the fuel cooler at the front of the engine. The pipe to the left hand side of the fuel cooler is connected to the other hose from the fuel tank, again on the passenger side bulkhead.
4 and 5 - the two push on connectors under the rear of the fuel rail - go to a 3-way (or is it 4-way, I couldn't really see) right in front of the fuel pressure regulator, with a longer hose forwards to the valve in the right-hand airbox.
