S3 electric window switches

Can anybody tell me what wires go where on the S3 switches.Can't find diagrams anywhere!

The switches have 6 terminal spades on the switch and I have six wires but god knows what goes to what.

Thanks Norman for your info a few weeks ago but your switch seems to have 5 spades and the colouring is different to mine so I'm Boll*xed.

Hi Neil,

Had my switches out recently and I made a note of the wiring colours to each terminal, goes something like this:

LH -
Top- yellow/red
Then- blue/red
Both vertical terminals (middle)- black
Then- red/blue
Bottom- yellow/green

RH-
Top- yellow
Then- blue/red
Both vertical terminals (middle)- black
Then- red/blue
Bottom- yellow/blue

Tricky to describe but If you look at the back of each switch there is an extra bit of plastic around two of the corners. The wiring colours above make sense with these plastic bits to the RH side when looking at the back of the switch.

I'll try and post up the sketch I made when I can get to my laptop!

I am guessing here but I reckon you will have to get the middle two black wires the right way round as they will be the feed to the motor - if you don't when you press the switch for it to go up it will go down, and vice versa.
If this happens just swap the wires around - but I'd try it before you clip the switch back in the dash!
