World record auction price 400SE

[CHJ]

Dorset Vintage and Classic auctions (sale June 2010)

To quote from local paper ... " A 1989 TVR Tasmin 400SE, restored to an exceptionally high standard, attracted a huge amount of attention and made a record £8,140 "

Surprised it is a world record price, but the dvca auction site confirms it. No pics of it though unfortunately.

Perhaps the record is referring to that auction house and it has never sold a 400 before?

[JVaughan]

interesting, the agreed valuation on my 400SE is £12,000 !!! but £8,000 for a 400Se these days is a little optomistic

Well thats makes me feel better knowing that all the time and effort I have put in on mine might actually be worth it!
