film id please!

i'm trying to remember a film from my youth all those years ago but i can only remember one scene.

i think it was a far east movie from the early 80's.

what i can remember is a fairly large radio controlled helicopter lands on the roof of a tall building and transforms into a robot and kills some people in a penthouse apartment.

my brother can remember the scene too but we're stumped on the title.

any ideas?

definatly not.
i think its a hong kong type film and definatly rated 18.
got a feeling it had a ninja theme but could be confusing it with something else.

Only one I can think of is 'Defense Play' usual American/russian spy kit gets in to wrong hands, geeky yank teens have to save world type thing. Might be completely wrong though!

its definatly a 18 rated film and its definatly made before 1986.
I'v seen that many martial arts type films over the years they've rolled into one big fight scene!
