I spent the weekend at a wedding and the BRDC for the Silverstone Grand Prix. The weather as you’re all aware was hot and traffic was a complete pain the rear. I was sitting in traffic, crawling along as you do at these kinds of events. Normally, I wouldn’t feel worried about overheating, but what with the non-car related heat, I was a little worried and kept checking the gauges.

I shouldn’t have bothered. My 2005 T350T was absolutely flawless and never once went over 91 degrees. The air “cooling” wasn’t worth much but hey, if sun visors are an option, I don’t think the air-conditioning is going to be the car’s top feature.

So generally, to all the muppets who carry on without having any first hand experience of these cars and that engine – take that. I saw a Honda and an older Porsche sitting by the side of the road, bonnet up and cooling!

I have to say, that I have been very pleased with my car. Starts first time, rain or shine or snow. I have never had it conk out on me or “lose it”. It’s been and continues to be a pleasure, even the glove box sits flush! It’s about to do 20,000 miles and I think it’s only getting better with use. It’s sad to see so many S6 TVRs with such low mileage – then again, many are third cars.

p.s I bumped into the Petrol Head Nirvana chaps at a petrol station and had the pleasure of being part of a Ferrari convoy that included an F40. Then ended up twinned with a F355 (what a gorgeous bottom) all the way to Silverstone. So all in a all … a great day!

Glad to hear the TVR behaved well, it was a very hot weekend. I used my motorbike and it took less than 15 mins from Towcester both going in at 8.30am and coming out at 3.30pm! Bike is the way to do the GP

Brilliant news mate. I'll agree with you the more I use the sagaris the better it gets.

I'll also agree with you that the cocks out there that know sweet FA about the TVR product and just slag them off from wot they here from other cocks don't know fk all!! There is no car,and I mean it, NO CAR that sounds and drives like my T350 and my Sagaris. None!

Got to agree, took my Sag to silverstone over the weekend and also got caught in some heavy traffic on the way home, but all was fine with no need to worry it seems
Must get the air-con recharged or checked as it doea not stay cold enough any more!

Was yours the metallic green car? I saw it and pointed it out to my fiance as a potential upgrade going forward.

As you should. I've been in traffic jams in Rome, Mallorca etc in the Tiv with no probs at all
