Unless you are racing or have a big fear of fire, get a bike helmet. Just as good and a fraction of the price. Economies of scale and all that.
Can't buy them in shops, but a good returns policy and mix budget price with track compliancehttp://www.v2sport.com/index.html
The range that MSE sell look very good.
You could do a cheap airfield day at the same time!

I'll second this. My Shoei bike helmet is far better made than my Bell car helmet, and £100 cheaper. If you do want a car helmet then take a weekend away in north wales, and go to Demon Tweeks. They've a good range and huge stock, so you can try on pretty much anything in any size. While you're there, do the same with the race seats in case you need one in the future; they have the whole range mounted in the showroom to try out.

I'm in Berks and the closest place I could find was Grand Prix Racewear at Silverstone Circuit.
I took the drive up to GPR at Silverstone from Kent. well worth it, as there is a large selection. However you will prob end up buying lots of other stuff when your there lol its a good store well worth the pilgrimage.Gassing Station | Track Days | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
