It's that time of year! Are you looking for a kitten?

On another forum I like to lurk on I've just come across this post http://www.petforums.co.uk/cat-chat/111592-fosteri...
Poor little thing. I can't help myself, but maybe one of you lovely lot can?
There are lots and lots of kittens in foster homes at the moment, from what I understand. So even if you cant help this little one, maybe you can help another somewhere more local to you.

I don't really understand this, I just had a total of 11 kittens, all moggies need new homes after two of my cats ended up up the duff, and I had no problems homing them. I even put a small charge on them to try to only get people who were serious about looking after a kitten and not just taking them on a whim.
And I could have sold them all twice over. I just used a kittenlist website and also on friday I got let down by the last two kittens who had homes ready, so I quickly put a poster up in pets at home and my phone didn't stop ringing all weekend and they went to their new homes last night.

I think it depends on the area you're in? Some areas have so many cats and kittens that need homing there just isn't enough interest. That's what I understand from reading anyway.
But also the lady does say that people seem to prefer going for kittens like yours as they don't need to be home checked or anything, or sign a neutering contract.
