16 cars so far paid up so far. Looks like we may have a Marcos joining us??
Thats an interesting one. Who has entered a Marcos, is it the one that has been doing the Aston Martin GT series? I have always thought that a link between Marcos and TVR could help numbers as I used to race a Marcos. Whilst one or two might grumble, Marcos and TVR are probably two of the most iconic British Sports car producers along with Morgan all of whom have had one make series. It would be quite good to have a Marcos class IMHO.well its not me!
have a good weekend chaps
eta: there should be a fair amount of Mantis' about ( Mantii?) as they used to have their own one make series similar to the tuscan challenge. http://www.marcoscars.net/mantisch.htm

SteveExtract from todays BRSCC Mallory Preview Report just released:
" . . . The Dunlop TVR Challenge will start the second half of their season on Sunday. In Class A Hugh Marshall’s late withdrawral may leave the way open for rival Dean Cook to steal a march on him. Class B's Keith Vaughan Williams won last time out at Brands Hatch but will be challenged at Mallory by Leigh Jones' Tasmin which is certainly on the pace. John Simpson & Dave Chant seem intent on swapping places in every race in Class C but their on-going battle may give an opportunity to the likes of Billy Thompson and Dave Stewart . . ."
Who writes this stuff!
Hugh's out then

sorry to sound dunb, but i was there on sunday and was as confused as most of the other spectators as to why there was a Marcos in a TVR Race??? can someone explain why it is allowed to run?
You should have read the programme. I think it was explained in there that "like-minded" cars can run in an invitation class.Gassing Station | General Motorsport | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
