I have just got one of my cars back after storing it for the last 2 years.Unfotunatly I stored it in a hay shed and when we got it out it was covered in a thick layer of dust.My mechanic has washed it of(with a brillo pad I think)and where he has hosed it down it looks like a stained trail has been left on the paint. I have since washed it again but it looks no better. I eventually got some T cut out and did it with that followed by dodo lime prime but under the flourescent light in the garage it doesnt look to good. Any ideas would be very much appreciated. The car is a mgbgt in tahiti blue that was resprayed ten years ago.
Thanks in advance Aub.

Paint is scratched, more than likely. Dodo Lime Prime or AG SRP might be sufficient to remove them.
Alternatively it may need something more abrasive, so a local pro detailer called upon to do that, leaving you to maintain it thereafter, if you don't fancy diy polishing with a DA or rotary.

For diy knowledge, join Detailing World, and look at/download the sticky threads DaveKG has created - plenty of info there for you to digest.
