Any good Xbox 360 deals around?

Mine has got RRoD and is out of warranty - don't fancy paying Microsoft £82+VAT when I could possibly get a new one for not much more (mine has a dodgy DVD drive too!)

Would I be able to get an Arcade console and stick my HDD in it? Do the Arcade consoles support 1080p etc?

So does anyone know of any cheap prices around at the moment?

There are LOADS of Elite deals at the moment due to the new 360 Slim being out.

Its £82 inc VAT iirc.

They don't actually repair your XBOX. They make sure it is not working, then send you either a reconditioned XBOX or a new XBOX. The XBOX is the same model as the one you sent in. And then you get a 12 month warranty.

Pretty sure they said its was plus VAT.
And you only get a 90day warranty on repairs (I double checked this as mines been repaired before)

im about to go upto currys and buy an elite, may try argos while im there, soo will be back online tonight possib ly with a new gamertag, as xbox are being nob heads and i cant get my windows id.

tesco - elite, halo ODST - forza 3 plus 2 selected games, not great games btw fable 2, saintsrow 2, sonic, games like that for 169.99 gonna go there, gotta be worth it for the extra 4 games for 20 quid.
