I'm off to do a 20 min Taster Session at Oulton Park at the end of the month with MSV in my MX5. This is with a view to doing the full Novice Day in October. I realise this will make no difference to what I expect will be my rather slow progress round the track, but what's best:
Roof down?
Roof up?
or hardtop on?

If you are having instruction the top down may make communication more difficult, which is something to consider smile Have a fun and safe outing.

I'd worry more about where the corners are if I were you

I'm hoping the track changing direction will make that quite obvious.

Fair point thought, before I did my first one I studied the track on youtube, but to answer your question its roof down for the full effect.

I'm sure you will enjoy it.

Hopefully it will be obvious enough before the corner and not after. Have fun at Druids. spin

Spent my childhood going to Oulton Park with my dad. Always stood at Druids for exactly that reason - always guaranteed a good few crashes.

Also been looking at a few Youtube videos and have ordered TOCA 3 which I believe has the Oulton PArk track on it - sad I know.
