Was it only me that thought that the BBC coverage was a bit lame when it came to showing the hardcore fans at Silverstone - the segment where Eddie and Jake cooked for the campers.... they should go to Lemans...

Its my experience that alot of the so called hard core Le mans fans, dont even know there's acualy a race on. You would be hard pushed to get alot of the Le mans fan to even name who is driving what car in the race. Hense the stickers "race? what race?"
On the other hand a hard core f1 fan knows more about his/her sport than the average le mans fan. They are there for the race first and the piss up secondery.
Being boisterous and a lout does not make one a hard core fan as seen often at the le mans. Only my opinion of course
