What kind of timescale do they do alloys in?
He can do them in 48hrs, but it depends how busy he is. He was quite busy when I first asked him about doing my sidebars, but best option is probably asking him for a date to do them. One negative thing I'll say is that the balancing of the wheels wasn't great afterwards, so I had them rebalanced elsewhere! It was my (mk4 Cupra) Ibiza wheels I had down there, very happy.

What's the name of the paint shop? Always handy to know
Neelyd recommended the place in the thread I started, and I'd recommend him too: http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&a...James Blair

Is Williams powder coating any good for alloy repairs?
Powder coating covers the entire wheel, so I guess it could be useful. My Ibiza alloy design were those ones with protruding spokes - they stuck out much further than the rims due to having to bend around the 4-pot calipers. Mine had scrapes right up the spokes when I bought it, powdercoating them at Williams filled in all the scrapes and left a smooth finish.a11y_m said:
